Cities4Youth Symposium

11 July 2025 | Sakarya, Türkiye | Hybrid (On-site & Online)

Organized under the coordination of the Governorship of Sakarya and supported by the Erasmus+ 2024-3-TR01-KA154-YOU-000279592 "Resilient Cities and Sustainable Future: Youngsters Discuss Future of the Cities" project, the Cities4Youth Symposium is an international event that places the perspectives and innovative solutions of youth at the center of discussions on urban sustainability and resilience. The symposium aims to emphasize the active role of young people in current issues such as urbanization, environment, climate change, social inclusion, digital transformation, and urban quality of life.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, combining on-site participation in Sakarya with online presentations from project partners and young people from abroad. In this way, young people and stakeholders from different countries will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate without spatial boundaries. During the symposium, papers, workshops, and panels will provide a platform for young people to share their ideas and projects for the future of cities, while good practices, recent academic research, and policy recommendations will be open for discussion.

The Cities4Youth Symposium aims to build the sustainable and resilient cities of the future with the energy, vision, and participation of youth. We invite all young people, those interested in urban studies, and anyone who wishes to be a part of this exciting dialogue to join our event.
