Youngsters Discuss Future of the Cities

This project, which will be carried out by our Governorship, aims to raise awareness among young people about urban sustainability and resilient cities and encourage their active participation. Supported under Erasmus+, the project enables young people to have a say in the future of cities by directly interacting with local governments and decision-makers.

Project Objectives

  • Increase the capacity of young people in urban sustainability and environmental awareness
  • Establish dialogue mechanisms between youth and local governments
  • Encourage youth participation in decision-making processes
  • Share best practices in urban and environmental policies through international cooperation

Core Activities

International Symposium

A scientific event where research papers prepared by academics and young people will be presented.

Youth Exchange and Workshops

Training on urban planning, sustainable living, and environmentally friendly practices.

Local Government Meetings

Young people sharing their proposals with governorship and municipality representatives.

Field Visits and Social Participation

Participants will examine sustainable urban practices on-site and develop solution proposals.

Expected Impact

At the end of the project, young people will take an active role in city management by participating more actively in decision-making processes, and concrete steps will be taken for sustainable cities.
